Effects: Armor

Common armor -- like those pieces you can purchase at the start of the game -- have no magical buff slots. However, as you play the game you will find more and more interesting armor pieces that grant you buffs to your statistics and other interesting benefits. In all cases, the armor piece must be equipped in order for the buffs or debuffs that it grants to be active.

Animality

Allows the wearer to shapeshift into the form of a common animal. Animals cannot cast targeted spells nor wield weapons but can cast AOE spells and wear all of their equipped armor. Animals are also granted a single +3 bonus statistic and a feat as determined by the game master. For instance:

  • an eagle may gain +3 to vision and the ability to fly
  • a bear may gain +3 to armor and a guaranteed bleeding debuff on successful hit
  • a fish may gain +3 to speed and the ability to breathe underwater

Space

Pushes back all creatures within melee range of the caster by three feet.
